Apprenticeship Programme Shortlisted for Two Local Business Awards

We have recently found out that we are finalists for our Apprenticeship Programme at two upcoming local business award ceremonies in Nottingham and Derby.

We have recently found out that we are finalists for our Apprenticeship Programme at two upcoming local business award ceremonies in Nottingham and Derby. Motus Commercials is shortlisted in the ‘Futures Award for Apprentice Employer of the Year’ category at the Nottingham Post Business Awards and the ‘Impellam Recruitment Award for Apprentice Employer of the Year’ category at the Derby Telegraph Business Awards, 2019.

This news comes shortly after our recent announcement that the same programme has been shortlisted for ‘Apprenticeship of the Year’ at the Motor Transport Awards, taking place in July.

There have been a number of developments to the Motus Commercials Apprenticeship Programme over recent months, which have contributed to our finalist status. You can find out more in our recent story: Motus Commercials Shortlisted at the Motor Transport Awards.

Matthew Lawrenson, Managing Director at Motus Commercials, comments, “Our Apprenticeship Programme is better than ever, with 90 current apprentices across the group who all show great potential for a successful, lifelong career in the industry. Our new Apprentice Coordinator, Sarah Bardens, has made some great progress to grow and strengthen our programme, since joining the company last year, and I look forward to seeing her ideas attract more and more young talent through our doors.”

The Nottingham Post Business Awards will take place on 22nd May at the East Midlands Conference Centre and the Derby Telegraph Business Awards are on 5th June at The Roundhouse, Derby College.
