Another successful weekend at Convoy In The Park is complete and we hope all our customers enjoyed themselves. DAF Trucks UK brought an impressive display of trucks and we would like to thank them for their support. ???? Motus colleagues went above and beyond to setup the stand and kept everyone well-fed and refreshed with top-tier hospitality. The showcase of customer trucks was incredible and the racing on track was certainly a spectacle! ????? We would like to thank our customers for attending and the Motus team involved with making this event so special.

Barnsley Accident Repair Centre

We are proud to announce the grand opening of our new office block at Motus Commercials Barnsley, Accident and Repair Centre.  We hosted an open day in glorious sunshine on 20th June 2025. We invited a host of customers and colleagues to attend, with live demos, tours and a chance to meet the Accident/Repair team. A BBQ was started at 12 PM and Rob Mackenzie (Regional Director) gave a speech about the new office block and thanked the hard working team at the Accident Repair Centre. Rob alonside Andy Douglas (Bodyshop Manager) then proceeded to cut the ribbon to mark the offical opening of the new building.

Delivered by our Business Development Executive, Andy Ridgeway at Motus Stoke, this order is part of a total of seven joining the fleet.  Long standing customer of both DAF and Motus Commercials, Owner and Stoke-on-Trent local, Rod Brown continues to trust Motus Stoke for servicing his vehicles. DAF’s New Generation trucks run on 100% HVO to cut CO2 emissions by 90%

DAF is working on a hydrogen-powered Internal Combustion Engine as a different option from fuel cell technology. This option has the advantage of having better transient capabilities, which means it can respond faster to changes in power demand and eliminate the need for a large energy storage system. DAF is also conducting trials with fuel cell technology to explore its potential for the future of hydrogen-powered trucks.
