As part of Sustainability Week, we’ve rounded up all the fantastic efforts our manufacturer partners are going to for a reduction in emissions on our roads and to paint a greener future for road transport.
From electric trucks and vans to alternative fuels like HVO and GTL, there are plenty of options for commercial vehicle operators to go green.
The entire range of DAF trucks is certified for use with HVO and GTL fuels. DAF is also making headways with hydrogen, developing the award-winning DAF XF H2 Innovation Truck which features an Internal Combustion Engine running on hydrogen fuel. The DAF LF Electric and DAF CF Electric are currently available in the UK, enabling operators to continue to make deliveries in inner-city areas where emissions restrictions are in place. The ultra-manoeuvrable DAF LF Electric has a range of up to 174 miles, and the ever-versatile DAF CF Electric has a range of up to 155 miles.
