MOTUS Commercials Supports East Coast Truckers Charity Convoy

Motus Commercials Nottingham driver, Chris Selby, took part in the 34th Annual East Coast Truckers Charity Convoy on Sunday 25th August, which raised £8300 for outings for disabled and disadvantaged children.

Motus Commercials Nottingham driver, Chris Selby, took part in the 34th Annual East Coast Truckers Charity Convoy on Sunday 25th August, traveling from the County Hall, Norwich to Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park, Great Yarmouth.

The East Coast Truckers Charity provides outings for disabled and disadvantaged children throughout East Anglia, and this event is a key staple in the charity’s fundraising calendar.

Motus Commercials driver Chris Selby drove a DAF XF Tractor Unit, supplied by our Nottingham dealership, which was number 44 of 100 trucks in the convoy. Motus Commercials also supported with fuel and the entrance fee.

Chris comments, “This was a fantastic event to be a part of, especially as it was for such a good cause. The support from spectators along the route was completely overwhelming and we’d definitely like to take part again next year.”

The 34th Annual East Coast Truckers Charity Convoy gave 100 disabled and disadvantaged children the exciting opportunity to ride in a truck, and also raised an impressive sum of £8300 for the charity.
