Motus Commercials has launched a brand new recruitment programme to attract new talent into its workshops.
The Service and Maintenance Technician Programme has been developed to give people an opportunity to start a new career as a Commercial Vehicle Technician. Aimed at those with no technical knowledge or experience, the two-year internal course will be the first stepping stone for a fulfilling career with Motus Commercials.
An exciting chance to start something new, employees will hit the ground running in one of Motus Commercials’ state-of-the-art workshops, receiving on the job training whilst earning the standard living wage. Successful completion of the course will provide a Level 1 Commercial Vehicle Technician status and the opportunity for even further education.
Motus Commercials is the first in the commercial vehicle industry to launch a programme of this nature, which showcases its status as:
- A diverse employer with a focus on inclusion
- A driver of social mobility in the UK
- A provider of career opportunities
Emma Murdock, Head of HR at Motus Commercials, comments, “We’re really proud to have a multi-award winning apprenticeship programme and now it’s time to open up such exciting opportunities to older age groups too. The commercial vehicle industry has so much to offer, and age nor gender should take away somebody’s potential of having a successful career with us.”
