Driving Experience

The T6.1 range has a wide range of technologies to assist you whilst out on the road.

Front Assist with City Emergency Braking
Warns the driver of impending collisions and, if necessay, will apply the brakes. Even responding to potential roadside hazards such as cyclists and pedestrians.

Driver Steering Recommendation
Gives the driver suggested inputs to help stabilise the vehicle. The system also intervenes using gentle adjustments if it recognises oversteer when cornering

Crosswind Assist
As part of the Electronic Stabilisation System (ESP), crosswind assist applies the brakes if the vehicle encounters a strong crosswind and is automatically activated when travelling above 50mph
Lane Assist
Countersteers the vehicle if it unintentionally difts from a lane. Displaying audio and visual warnings. (Option)

Park Assist
When reverse gear is engaged the vehicle automatically assumes control of the steering and all the driver has to do is operate the clutch, accelerator and brake. (Option)

Side Protection
Monitors the vehicles sides and alerts the driver using visual and audible warnings. (Inc. with Park Assist).

Adaptive Cruise Control
If the vehicle in front accelerates, the T6.1 automatically follows at the set distance up to the previously selected speed. With T6.1, this system can bring the vehicle to a complete standstill and then pull away when the vehicle in front has moved (DSG only).
