New Interior and Exterior Features

The front of the T6.1 has had a complete redesign creating a fresh new look. Included with the van are daytime running lights, H7 headlights and LED rear lights*. Finishing the stylish exterior are the updated alloy wheels.

Moving inside the T6.1, you will find a digital dashboard complete with with the latest generation of infotainment systems. Stay connected at all times with an integrated SIM card and enjoy a full range of driver assistance systems.
For A Smoother Drive

Comfort has been at the forefront of the T6.1's redesign. The equipment offered as standard boasts many improvements and there are a host of comfortable extras that you can opt into to make your drive even more car-life. These include electric four-way lumbar support for increased comfort and individual seats which are easily-adjusted to suit you.

An electromechanical steering system replaces the T6's hydraulic power steering. This allows for intelligent driver assistance systems, such as Lane Assist which identifies road markings and ensures the van stays in its lane. Further systems include Cross Wind Assist and Park Assist, which leaves you to operate the pedals while the vehicle steers automatically to get you in and out of tight parking spaces*.
Viewing the Future

The 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit sets the T6.1 apart from the rest*. The graphics are ultra clear and high-contrast, reducing the time needed to look at the screen. The switchable display offers a range of useful information.

Also updated are the optional navigation systems. The 8-inch Discover Media and 9.2-inch Discover Pro systems now feature redesigned graphics and button layout. The homescreen can be tailored to you and your individually-configured apps, whilst the full glass overlay adds to the high quality feel and longevity of the Discover Pro's screen.

The intergrated SIM card (eSIM) is the key feature of the T6.1's infotainment system. It comes as standard with Composition Colour and is availabe as an option on Composition Audio. It allows a range of online services and functions for T6.1 customers, such as eCall which automatically sends the location of the vehicle to an emergency response centre in case of an accident. eCall automatically alerts emergency services if the driver fails to respond. Music streaming and internet radio is also accessible through the eSIM, along with connection to the new "Volkswagen We" world of online services.
Maximum drivetrain versatility

The T6.1 has a completely reworked engine. The front-wheel drive T6.1 will have the highly efficient 2.0-litre turbodiesel engine, with all engine options compliant with the Euro-6d-TEMP-EVAP emissions standard. There will be a range of engine and gearbox options to choose from including 4MOTION all-wheel drive and DSG dual clutch gearbox.
